YT Looper privacy policy

This policy covers the YT Looper browser extension.

Summary

The extension collects no personal data. It sends no data to any server.

What the extension stores

The extension saves the start time and the end time of each video you loop. It saves them on your device in chrome.storage.local. They never leave your device.

Remove the extension, or press Clear in the popup, to delete them.

What the extension does not do

• It does not collect your name, email, browsing history or watch history.
• It does not use analytics, ads or trackers.
• It does not make network requests.
• It does not load or run remote code.
• It does not sell or share data with anyone.

Permissions

• activeTab: read the playback time of the YouTube tab where you click the icon.
• scripting: run a small function in that tab to read the time and to move the video back to the start time.
• storage: save your start and end times on your device.

The website

The YT Looper website at ytlooper.vercel.app uses Google Analytics to count visits. The extension does not use it.
